When you buy a Padilla Home, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your builder’s warranty obligations are clearly defined in writing and backed by a strong warranty insurer. Padilla Homes will enroll your home in the warranty program at the date of closing. With the purchase of your new home, you’ll receive a copy of the structural home warranty contract that explains what is covered as well as a maintenance booklet to give you tips on how to care for your home.

The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty® covers the following:

1 Year Workmanship Warranty
Defects in materials and workmanship for a full year, as defined in the Construction Performance Guidelines in your 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Booklet.

2-Year System Warranty
Defects in the electrical, plumbing and mechanical distribution systems for 2 years as defined in the Construction Performance Guidelines in your 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Booklet.

10 Year Structural Warranty
Structural defect coverage beginning on your closing date. A structural defect is defined as a physical damage to your home’s designated load-bearing elements caused by failure that affects their load-bearing function to the extent that your home becomes unsafe.
